Slet for Hepworth
10th and 12th September 2009
Traditionally, a slet is a mass display of Czech Sokol exercises and means ‘a flocking of birds.’ The slet project recreates Sokol routines for contemporary reuse and trains groups of participants for synchronised exercise at sites of modern architecture. The workshops are dedicated to Hepworth, the architect of Walthamstow’s wonderful Town Hall.
